Decorating Success
With a little help from Guthrie Bowron Te Awamutu
Sheralee is a young mum of one little boy and heavily pregnant with their second baby, fingers crossed for a little girl, who all live in their farm house just outside of Te Awamutu. She wanted to do up the kids rooms before having the new baby.
She rang Guthrie Bowron Te Awamutu and organised a house call visit from Jo. Sheralee then chose the wallpapers that you see in the photos, all from the Pacific Wallcoverings Boys and Girls Wallpaper Book.
The house was built by Sheralee and her husband, but was originally painted and after a few years has started to look tired. The plan going forward is to go through the whole house and update it room by room.
The result is absolutely stunning!
Decorating Triumph
With a little help from Guthrie Bowron Browns Bay
David Elmsly from Auckland wanted to create an impacting feature wall for the lounge that complimented existing artwork. He needed a look that was not too overpowering, as the television was mounted on the same wall.
Having completed the wall in the lounge, David decided to do a feature wall on the back wall of the bedroom as well. He wanted something elegant and impacting that linked to the lounge.
The staff at Guthrie Bowron Browns Bay were very helpful and spent considerable time helping David make his choice. The wallpaper and preparation was completed in one day. It has made a significant impact on the look of the house, for only a small investment in time and money.
