How to Calculate Wallpaper

To convert your measurements from centimetre (cm) to metres (m),  multiply the given centimetre value by 0.01 meters. For example, to convert 53 cm to m, multiply 53 by 0.01, we get 0.53m.

Pattern repeat is the vertical distance before a wallpaper design repeats. Larger pattern repeats may require more wallpaper, as you'll need to align the pattern across strips for a seamless look. You can usually find the pattern repeat listed in the product description.

Can I use this calculator for all types of wallpaper?

Yes, this wallpaper calculator works for most wallpaper types, just make sure you enter accurate roll dimensions and pattern repeat values.

What if my room has windows or doors?

You can subtract the area of windows and doors if you'd like a more precise estimate, but we generally recommend including them to allow for cutting and alignment errors.
